Hi all, just thought I would ask everybody's opinion on a recent f&f offer.

Husband and I started a six year IVA in Aug 08, no house but had Northern Rock. Paid £443 for the first three years then had to have payments reduced to £377 in year four. we have offered £4000 as a full and final and our dividend goes from the original 40p to 32p, but it would have gone down anyway because of the reduced payments.

We have put the offer forward due to personal reasons, I am so stressed out about it, it's as bad at the initial process, I'm so worried that it won't get accepted.

Anyway our meeting is the 26th November and I'll let you all know the outcome

Trina xx

Hi TRINA,

good luck with your offer, we too had our f&f accepted on 22nd due to loss of tax credits and overtime, we worried for over a month till it was d-day but all went well in the end, i am sure if your IP thinks it is acceptable you will have nothing to worry about
Alas, I am dying beyond my means.

Seems a fair offer to me and no reason why it would be rejected. Fingers crossed for you.

Mine has just been rejected, mainly due to the arrears. GT were confident that it would be accepted, but unfortunately it wasn't. GT felt it was a fair offer. They've gone back to the creditors that rejected it with an increased offer; 215 a month to 240, they've also offered to waive their fees. I'm in my fourth year of the IVA and I'm so worried that it's going to fail and that I'll have no choice but to be made BR. Can anybody help me please?

As your IP thinks that your offer is reasonable Trina, let's hope that creditors will also agree!

Hi,

It's a YES!!! I really can't beleive it, I'm crying like a baby. I had convinced myself that it would be rejected.

I can't thank Mel enough and her team, especially Laura, she has had to put up with lots of emails from me over the last four years.

Our journey has been a tough one and I'm so looking forward to a new chapter in our lives, 2013 is going to be the best year in a long time.

I did ask what happens now and I was told I will receive my completion cert in the next few weeks, which will be the icing on the cake, that blasted register was a difficult one for me.

Good look to everyone whatever stage your at on your journey.

Trina xx
