Is it possible to change to another iva provider if your not happy. Only been in iva since April but already been passed over to another. Wish I'd found this site before entering my iva. Think I'd have approached Mel or Andy.

Hi,

Unfortunately its nigh on impossible to do so as it is very complicated and expensive.

Which company are you with?

I don't know a lot about them but I'm sure there are some posters on here who are with them and can comment.

I would have loved to have acted for you Jean, but unfortunately it seems that a lot of people do not get to find out about us until their IVAs are in place. Need to revisit my marketing processes in the New Year!

Thanks Mel. If only I'd looked around instead of going with the 1st one who got in touch. Seemed like a great idea at the time. Maybe it was a mistake

Don't look back - because you cannot change the decisions you made at that time. Work with your IP - and if you run into any difficulties along the way you have friends and experts on this forum who will do their best to help you.

Hi Jeano99

I made my final payment in August and am now waiting the completion certificate.

I was with Kingsgate and have to say other than few niggles which were sorted out of the phone I've not experienced anywhere near some of the horror stories posted on this forum.

Good Luck to you

Thanks chezza100
Nice to hear someone has come through it all with kingsgate.
It's hard not to read the horror stories on here.
But I've not seen many positive stories with kingsgate.
Congrats on your completion.

It is that nature of the beast on forums like this that you will rarely find stories of praise for IPs. When people's IVAs are running smoothly they will rarely look for advice and comfort outside of their own firm.

I'll make sure I comment on the good & bad while in my iva if it helps people in the same position. Hopefully more good than bad !

I am hoping to do likewise with my new provider -- and sincerely hope I can post good news, as they aren't too popular at the moment (although I am sure they will sort themselves out and get back to top form soon).
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Hi Jeano99,
I've been with Kingsgate for 2yrs, so far so good compared to some. There are a few posters on here with Kingsgate and no bad comments from what I saw (lets hope I haven't just jinxed it)
