Hi UnionCityGirl,

I too am a client of Melanie`s, and I can say with out doubt you are in extremely capable hands.

I opened a basic account with Yorkshire Bank just before I started my IVA proceedings, and they have been superb. I have a maestro card and very good internet banking facilities with real time account information.
I had to go through an in branch interview and credit check to open the account.
I don`t know if they have tightened their `criteria` since I became an account holder.

Yorkshire Bank are Australian owned, whether this has any baring either way on an account acceptance I have no idea.

I'm already with Nationwide, but they are one of creditors. Shame as they are good.
