tarasue-don't panic, there are solutions. Have you thought about a managed bank account? like herbekj we were with Thinkbanking (now Thinkmoney) and it was and is worth every penny of the monthly fee. No juggling finances they do it all for you and you know exactly how much is yours to spend, they take care of all direct debits etc. Good luck!
Life after IVA is wonderful.

Good to see some positive feedback about the Think account. It may not be for everyone, but when someone recognises that they may need some additional assistance with budgeting it is good to know it is out there at a relatively modest cost.

we were paid on the 13th December and will not get paid again until 31st Jan, I just kept my December pay and didn't touch it till I would have normally got paid after xmas so I don't have to go as long, I do know I am in a minority though that do that, a lot of people at work were moaning yesterday about having no money left already, I was very careful not to gloat LOL

We are always paid on the last Thursday of the month so it can be anytime between 24th to the 31st. Always bad having Jan as a 5 week month
If life is what you make it, I must have been in a strange mood when I made mine

Many, many thanks for all your replies, I love this site, everyone so supportive, I took Karol's advice and emailed customer support, I got a reply within the hour and they have authorised the payment break and given me the option of paying back the shortfall over one or two years. I am so very happy, I was so worried. GT do seem to receive bad publicity in here sometimes so I thought I would give some good feedback, they really have put my mind at rest and I am determined that this won't happen again! Once again thanks to Karol and the GT team and most of all the people who took the time to reply to my post. xxxx
