I know that will take many by surprise at the moment.

I just wanted to mention that I had another query with GT ( moving house, rental differential and related expenses stuff). Email sent yesterday and a very informative and helpful reply back today.

I must say that, within the terms of my IVA, GT are doing everything they can to help mitigate the expense of moving and I am very pleased, so far, with the way they are handling my IVA.

For anyone worried about the complaints of late ... yes ... the closures department have MAJOR issues to deal with, and interdepartmental communications could be a lot tighter and faster, but, in the actual handling of IVA's during the term I am unable to fault them (as I keep saying .... so far!).
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

GT have a massive opportunity here to win back some credibility with both customers and the industry, it really is in their hands. Let's hope they can secure the mass variation and start issuing CC's within the two months they are promising.

yes, I havent had a problem really with their handling during the term, it just seems once you reach the final payment nothing happens thereafter!

Sorry to put a spanner in the works but, yes they were ok during the term for me too, bar me chasing for a few things. But, and a big but, their duty doesn't just stop there , they also have to close it within the terms of the agreement! The last year for me is much worse and stressful than the preceding 5......

Getting a reply the next day is good business practise but how can they condone not replying to debtors for 2 weeks as the norm after last payment and updates once a calendar month!

Agree, the last ten months have been hugely more stressful than the entire five years put together. Frankly I have fealt helpless. No one accepts accountability and it feels the louder you shout the more you are ignored. Fingers crossed.

Not a spanner at all IVA Victim, I agree with you -- but I want to emphasise that the problem ( albeit a BIG one), seems to lie within one particular department.I know the IP has overall responsibility, but, in reality, I doubt he even knows I am under his wing.

Jerrylee -- it they were paying me to say nice things I haven't noticed (all my money goes in the opposite direction!). Trust me, if they mess up I will be talking about that on here too !!!

If you're getting that you're doing well. I've not heard from them once since final payment - unless I've contacted them first!

I waited 3 weeks for a reply to an e-mail I sent GT, I did send it again Weds this week and had half a reply Thursday.
I resent the same e-mail yesterday asking why I only had answers to half of the information I required from them.
Probably have to wait a further 3 weeks before I resend the same e-mail again.
