Finally our IVA is finished and closed and we're debt free. My message to others is hang in there it's tough but the reward of being debt free makes it all worthwhile. It's amazing how quickly the time passed. Be patient and your smile will be as big as ours when our completion certificate arrived. :-)

Great news

Go celebrate ! Who was your iva with and how long did it take after your final payment for the completion certificate to be issued ?

It does fly once you have done 2 / 3 years
Last payment made April 2012

Yes well done but who was it with? Also "12 months to go" who was yours with, 8 months seems good too?
Mine is now 13 months from last payment!

Hi 12 months to go

We did f&f and it took 12 months for certificate. It was down to new laws about vat and ppi so things may have speeded up by the time you make your final payment. We were with GT and although 12 months was a long time in the grand scheme of things it wasn't too bad. Hang in there and be patient and all good things will come (especially your CC!). :-)
