Hi debt tired and spanna. So very disheartened to read your posts here, and really feel it for you both. You may see me refer to posters on here as "forum family", and that's how I regard everyone on here - willing everyone on, and hoping we can all have a chance of viable debt solutions. Who knows why creditors reject offers - especially in this continuing economic climate, but no-one can say you haven't tried. You must both be feeling pretty crap, but I hope that changes soon with getting more information/exploration of ways forward. x
IVA journey started: 30th March 2009. Settled: 17th July 2012. Completion Certificate received: 13th March 2013. Breathe. x

debt tired & spanna

mels team tend to have very few issues and from many forum posts work tirelesly for their clients, so im sure if there is a way to sort this out mel will find one

good luck , i know mels team will do their best to arrive at a solution for you, but its the creditors that have the ultimate say

i think as well , not a week goes by where we hear either an IVA provider ( not mel i hasten to add ) or particular creditors adopt a slightly different approach and i suspect until this happens the IPs do not know about it and cant alwsys pre empt the next move if a creditor takes adopts a different stance than has hitherto been the case
Last payment made April 2012
Certificate received 1st Nov 2012

Hi Debt tired and Spanna, hopefully Melanie can work her magic, good luck and best wishes.

I have to agree with 12 months to go, it would appear that there are many changes afoot with IVA's and creditors, even in nearly 6 years there have been many challanges etc, out of which lessons are learnt, maybe this will lead to new regulations etc but what does need to happen is clients are treated respectfully and fairly by all the IVA providers, both of you are in very good hands and i would be choosing Melanie if i was embarking on my IVA now.
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.

IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.

So sorry to hear this news. I am confident that everything that can be done, will be done. You do have the best team in the business on your side.

Assuming no bar ( jobs etc.) to bankruptcy, then this should seriously be considered. It is no-where near as bad, these days, as people perceive in to be (pity you can't choose your trustee! ). The losers will, ultimately, be the creditors, who will get far less -- but that is what they deserve!

Mel won't leave you dangling, as she and her team all truly care about the work they do and their clients.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
