I get knocked down, but I get up again. They ain't never gonna keep me down.

The reason I asked was; if you put "Debt help direct ltd" in to Google it returns the first hit as DfD.

not good news

lets hope that this doesnt impact on any clients they have arranged IVA or other debt solutions for. That said im sure one of the bigger firms would maybe buy their client book off them if the company was due to fail.

I dont for one minute claim to know the rules relating to this sort of thing, but im pretty sure the profession is well regulated and policed, judging by past comments some of the sites IPs have outlined

fingers crossed no clients become affected by todays press report and in fairness, its early days of the police investigation, all may actually be ok
Last payment made April 2012
Certificate received 1st Nov 2012

ClearDebt have posted a helpline number for anyone with need of assistance.

I do believe that this isn't DfD but a company with a similar name.

What a shocking story to read about yet another firm in the debt management industry misusing client monies. Thank goodness the new and proposed legislation is gradually starting to rid us of these bad apples - and long may this work continue.

As with ClearDebt offer of help to any clients affected by the demise of this company - including their own 30 employees who are now all without jobs - I will be happy to help any of them to find a way to signpost to an alternative route of clearing their debts.

Let's hope that if money has really go astray, that the police action may enable some of it to be recovered and paid to the client's affected - and also that creditors will be sympathetic and patient in the circumstances.
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

At the risk of annoying admin, a better link is http://www.cleardebt.co.uk/blog/clearde ... lans_69592
Free help is available for those clients of DHD who need to continue with a DMP, and reviews for those who may be better with other products, such as IVA's, BR's or DRO's.

Very sad to see innocents seemingly caught up again though.

Regards.

oh my God, ClearDebt are so generous to offer this review of your DMP. Everyone should flock to them as soon as possible to take them up on this special offer that they offer to everyone.

On a serious note you should speak to someone though and get a case review. This site recommends Melanie Giles, DFD and McCambridge Duffy.
