Geordie, no progress as yet but I will be e-mailing Mr Mond so he can look into our case further. Don't know if you're in the same position as we are regarding PPI.
We were promised £500 of whatever was claimed back. My wife seems to think we would have had a big payout if we'd claimed off our own back, but I have my doubts.
The one reason I didn't make a claim for PPI is because we were in an IVA and the banks / credit card companies would have not paid out anyway. I was obviously wrong.
As expected, David gives an honest response on the forum, as we would have expected. Running a public company makes the whole world have to know about your business - there are definate pros and some cons. Anyone who knows David knows that he run an incredibly successful operation, has exercised flair and creativity with some of the acqusitions made, but to suggest that his empire is struggling is frankly ludicrous.
If there are IVA books for sale, I would expect David to be at the forefront rather than the rear. He has a demonstrated track record in acqusition, and while it is fair to say that personal insolvency nunbers have reduced, so have our fees and our clients' disposable income - leading to some of us putting a greater emphasis on our corporate practics and special projects.
