Unfortunately it is a very grey area as to whether PPI can be introduced after completion, as it is ( rightly or wrongly) deemed to be an asset in existence prior to or during the IVA.

Personally I believe that once they have issued the certificate of completion they have relinquished their interest in the IVA ( as stated in that certificate) and that should be the end of it. But, until this is tested in court the more avaricious companies will keep trying.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Put your number on the telephone preference service when they ring tell them your on it and will report them for cold calling if they dont remove you from database.
If they keep calling after that report them and they lose money in automatic fines which stops them really quickly.
Unfortunately takes 28 days to kick in.

Time to end of IVA 0 days
Time to end of GT dealing with it...CC recieved after a battle royal !!

It is interesting to see an insolvency practitioner pursuing PPI mis-selling claims when they have already ceased to act, but in principle there is nothing wrong in doing this either if the asset genuinely formed part of the original IVA agreement.

I too keep getting calls from GT's PPI helpline (really EIC Ltd from Glasgow) even though I have finished my IVA, got my CC and signed a declaration of no claim ?
After receiving 3 calls yesterday which rang off before I could answer, I decided to call them back to remove me from their records and stop calling. I won't be holding my breath that they won't keep calling, but I live in hope [:)]
On the subject of claiming PPI after the CC has been issued :- How can any claimed monies be paid into your agreement ? You have been officially released from your commitment, your creditors have been paid, and them and the court has agreed, so where would the payments go ?
I would like some clarification on this matter as it smells fishy that a closed agreement, where all parties are satisfied, can still have payments made into it even though it has ceased to exist ?
It further raises my suspicions when the majority of these PPI claims seem to be for people who are either awaiting their CC, or have already had it.

The monies would be distributed to the creditors that were included in the IVA. It doesn't make any difference if the IVA has been closed, as there is a continuing trust to deal with assets such as PPI mis-selling claims post closure - although I have to say that I don't think that many IP firms will be pursuing claims in closed cases.
