8 stamps is reasonable enough I guess but as Janey above said one phone call and it's done all by yourself.
Whilst you can obtain your credit file with one phone call, you cannot correct errors until after you receive the report.
The biggest myth is that the CRA's can make corrections, they can only
a) Remove the IVA from the Court Section if applicable
b) Add completion date
c) Remove a Notice of Correction
Incorrect entries against credit agreements can only be corrected by the lender or debt purchaser. This really needs to be done in writing as written proof of the IVA completion is required by them and a lot of the debt buyers are now offshore companies.

So only equifax are sorted out? what about the others?
I have read the other thread and I do wholeheartedly agree it's unfair to start labelling every company that people don't know about as 'ambulance chasers' with no evidence to back that up.
However, I do have issue with companies such as yours targeting people from the insolvency register and effectively coldcalling them through mail.
I do agree with Lesley that you can do this yourself for very little, and to be honest, as I'm such a tight yorkshire woman, even the cost of 8 first class stamps (aren't they about 70p each now?) so thats about £6 for something you can do for £6 less yourself is too much for me, I'd rather spend that money on a bottle of wine!
I think that it feels for a lot of people who have gone through the years of an IVA, that there are vultures on the horizon that are scavenging waiting to pounce to earn more money out of you. I understand every business needs to make money and wants to succeed and offer a service of mutual benefit, I just don't see that this service offers any benefit at all, sorry.
I think you brought on any criticism yourself, sending out spam mailing to lists you trawl from the Inconstancy register, and yes it is spam.
You could quite easily have trawled the internet and found forums like this one where you could lay out your stall and I bet, as eggs is eggs, you would have got a far better 'hit rate'. For 8 1st class stamps I would love to have someone else do all the paper work, knowing they are using all the correct wording and legalise, but I would not touch a company who just sent me a flyer and information out in a spam mail.
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues

Very much this!!!
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.
I don't want to give suggestions but am surprised there are not more commercial companies doing this. I would happily pay £100 if they could guarantee a pristine credit report within 8 weeks.
They say that they will do all of this for you, on a no-strings attached arrangement for the cost of 8 stamps! No brainier in my book - a very cheap service from a firm who seem to know what they are doing. It must cost them far more to administer than the reward, but I gather they are very happy for clients to contact them directly. I'm certainly going t recommend them to all of mine.
I feel confident they are not cross referencing with the MPS as I received one and should not have done. I did ask for confirmation from them I would receive no further mailings and to date have not received this. The MPS is in place for a reason and I became a member for the very reason of not wanting unsolicited mail which I consider this to be.
Cleaning up of credit files is simple according to the forum and some posters are so knowledgeable that I will take their advice.
My IVA stays on my credit files for 6 years from date of acceptance correct?? Why then do I receive a letter last week telling me for 8 stamps I can get it sorted?? Am I missing something? have I got it wrong? maybe but hopefully someone can clarify.
Irrespective of me being right or wrong in respect of the IVA on my credit file, the fact remains this was unsolicited mail!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
I agree with you Lesley, you are right in that your iva will stay on your file for the full 6 years and no amount of cleaning it up before then will make the slightest bit of difference
What you have to remember is that Tyler Morgan is also a claims management company and once they have you on board they will ask if they can claim PPI on your behalf also. This is where they make their money......
I can see where they may be of benefit to some people but they don't do themselves any favours by cold contacting people by either spam mailshots or cold calling over the phone.
This is my biggest bugbear of some conpanies these days and I,for one, would like to see this practice banned altogether. If a company wishes to advertise by means of local or national newspapers by all means do it but they should not be allowed to spam mail, emails, texts or phone calls.
If I want a service provided or goods I go looking and do some research on that company for complaints, etc. Any company that has spammed me via mail, phone, etc are off the list from the start and that also goes for companies that do the same to company I work for.
I certainly agree with you on those points ST1100. But whilst the Insolvency Service insist that a public register be maintained, and allow full and free access to that, there will always be firms who will exploit that opportunity for their own personal gain. It is difficult to criticise, even if it doesn't sit terribly well for some people.
