Hi, Bluestone Credit Management are still adding data to my credit report in the form of late payments. My IVA was agreed in November last year. Does anyone have a letter template I could use to send to them asking them to stop?
I rang them this morning but do not have much confidence in them acting.
I am concerned as this will still show in 6 years when the rest of my credit report will be ok.
Thank you

I asked my IP about this as some of our creditors are still adding late payment charges even though our IVA was agreed in January 2013. Also, some of the default dates on our Noddle credit records are incorrect. I was told not to worry too much because the creditors are bound by the IVA and it is probably them just not updating their records. It is possible to sort things out once the IVA is complete to make sure your credit records are correct but I have written to the creditors that have recorded incorrect default dates to ask them to correct their records now, rather than wait 5-6 years. I am not going to worry about the late payment charges being added as that is the creditors problem, I am paying into my IVA so things will work themselves out.

I assume you mean they are posting 'D's to your credit report and not actually increasing the debt as well.
In relation to the 'D's I don't know if you can stop them doing that since as you are in an IVA, you are in default until the IVA concludes.
As the long as the date of removal from file is correct it doesn't really matter as the entire record will be removed on that date. This is something you start to work on and clear up after the IVA is complete for a lot of people as you gain little by doing it early and even then it can sometimes be better to let things happen naturally and only react if the default is not removed when it should be.
If they are still adding late charges to the debt and it is increasing then no they cannot do that and inform your IP.

Thanks for the responses.. They are still adding "6" to the report. They have not added any "d".
Has anyone else experienced/resolved this?

I beleive a number means number of months in arrears, I seem to recall mine having a 1 then a 2 then a 3 at some point on some debts. They might post 6 for the next 4.5 years every month. What's the date of removal from report, that's the really important thing.
