Well since our f&f& f was accepted only 2 and a half weeks ago, our certificate of completion fell through the letter box this morning. Such a strange feeling, I was expecting a pretty looking certificate but it was only a headed letter. Hey oh, means just as much. thank you again Freeman Jones [:D]

OMG that's amazing.
I've put a Full and Final offer into DFD which my father in law has offered.....my other half will have tears of joy rolling down her pretty little face if we get similar speed of settlement.
Fingers crossed for a DFD super result.[:)]
Done and dusted...stay positive, you'll get there too sooner than you think!!

That's great news :-)

I will try not to be deeply envious of the speed with which you got it!
Paid F&F in July 2012 and received CC in July 2013 :-)

Awesome news[:)]
Got me thinking.
I got a letter confirming the result of the Creditors meeting dated the day of the meeting.
Then about 2 weeks later got another one saying something like "confirming you are discharged from your obligations" (I filed it away at my business premises so it`s not to hand right now).
It never said Completion Certificate?
I`m still waiting for it, or at least I thought so. Mrs H is standing behind me with a rolling pin as I type this.

Foggy I just got a blah blah one side of letter, at least that`s what I thought. They told me it could take 2 months when I originally asked and that letter was so quick. I`ll have a good read tomorrow, I been plying Mrs H with wine so hopefully she`s forgotten....

No I havn`t heard from Ox apart from seeing him post in reply to another question soon after. I considered starting a thread asking how he was getting on, but decided it probably wasn`t a good idea at this point in time. Still think about him though.

I agree about not starting another thread, I think re-hashing everything was part of the problem. Like you, I do think about him and hope all is going well.

Ox is fine - and working hard to get me all of his documents so we can finalise the proposal of his IVA. He has good days and bad days, but on the whole I think that all of his ducks are starting to line up well now.

I will let him know that you are all thinking of him - what a kind and friendly bunch you all are!
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

Just to let you know the letter I got was not the CC but rather a "arrangement satisfied letter" - which seems a bit pointless.
So I been chasing the CC up this morning. I`d always assumed you came off the Insolvency Register when you got the CC, but I`ve found out it stays on for the original duration of the IVA even if you settle early with a F&F.
