I have been in my IVA now for 65 months and the end of July is my last ever payment.
It seems like such a long haul but i am nearly there.
I may have to pay over the odds on my lasy payment but a family member said they will give me the extra over anyway so that i can complete the whole thing which would be about Sixty or Seventy Pounds.
I am just so releved that i feel Debt Freedom now anyway as this month is a breeze.
Fantastic news Andrew - my how time flies! Roll on the end and your new beginning

It has been a Roller coaster from beginning to end as i have had job loss, repair bills, payment breaks and all other things beyond my control during the term but i have stuck with it and have nearly got to the end.
I will tell all those IVA'ers out there that there are times when things do get rough and you see no way out and do not want to jeopardize those 60 months but sometimes just letting your IVA company know and communicating the situation is all that you need to do and it is all about getting to a conclusion and closing a chapter in your life so that you can move forward
I know how you feel my last payment is at the end of the month also and I am just keeping my head down and counting the days. My washing machine broke last week and I had to get that fixed my TV is playing up at the minute and I just hope I can get to the end of the month and then sort it out come the end of August I am using the first months extra cash to book a holiday for next summer it has been well deserved. Good luck for the next few weeks Andy
Well done to you too km1512, hope you get the washing machine sorted and have a great and well deserved holiday
