You should be removed from the Insolvency Register within 3 months ( often much sooner). Your credit files should be clear ( assuming all dates etc are in order).

Thank you I have been checking it on a regular basis and my name is still there. Havn't started on my Credit Files yet it's not something I'm looking forward to as I'm not sure what I need to do.
Have a look at the Beatmydebt website -- they have useful articles regarding credit file cleanup (in the drop down menus across the top of the home page.

If you have the CC go to your record on the Insolvency Register, and report a error, tell them you are in possession of a completion certificate and you want the data removed. It may fast track it and you may get lucky
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.
It is up to your former IP to sort out the Insolvency Register for you. It is unlikely that the Insolvency Service will update it without confirmation from the former IP that the case has been properly closed.
I think what happens Rachael is the IP will contact the Insolvency Register, but the Register don`t necessarily act with any urgency. Matrix has a point in my experience [;)]
