How long has the IVA been cleared, how soon will the file be clean.

You'll stand a much better chance of acceptance for a normal bank account once all that has gone. It may be worth waiting!
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.

Most high street banks will offer you current account facilities if your IVA has concluded emptyspaces, but probably better not to choose one with whom you had some debt.

Santander let me have a current account without an overdraft near the end of my IVA. I have completley ended my IVA and have been offered an overdraft which I have refused.
