Hi purple princess sorry I've no idea but maybe one of our experts will be able to give some advice but I would winging a quick email to your IP to ascertain their feelings on this.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

How much is it? Declare it to your ip and expect to pay some of it over (I'm assuming its several hundred pounds).

Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.

If your IVA payments were based on a lower figure in my opinion this would be a windfall. If less than £500 you could possibly keep in but you need to let your own IP know to be sure.

I would say it is an asset, as your right to the money was derived prior to the IVA, but in reality you could probably successfully argue this either way.
