Hi everyone,

I made my last iva payment in May 2013, we are unfortunately
In negative equity on the mortgage so no funds to release there.
My question is.. Is that it? I haven't heard anything since we made
The final payment and it feels strange, like I should be doing something else. Do I just wait now for a final report to come through?

Thanks :)

Have you contacted your IVA company to make sure that your payment in May was your final payment. What company are you with

Hi, yes I spoke with my IP firm who told me I could cancel the standing order after the May payment.
I'm with Melanie's firm. It just feels like I should be doing something else. I think I'm just worried and don't quite believe it's over at the moment!

PPI issue aside. It can take a little while to ensure the final distribution is made, four or five months is normal to wrap things up. But to be honest until year six has a clicked by, completion certificate or not your IVA stays with you.

Some fuss is made about do this that to your credit report, but in reality just before years six passes, get your credit reports and see if anything needs to be done. Sometimes they put your IVA from public record section into the NOC section, you'll see what I mean and just asked for it to be removed.

Enjoy the extra cash!

I'm sure Melanie has this all in hand as I was with Melanie and hopefully you'll receive your certificate of due completion in due course.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

If you are who I think you are, then I think I sent your closure paperwork out last night. Is your forum name a part of your actual surname?
