Please could you advise me on where IP's are getting their guidance on dealing with PPI during an IVA? Is it through bulletins from the insolvency practitioners website? Are there publications that can be read etc?

The latest guidance that I have seen is

https://www.icaew.com/~/media/Files/Tec ... claims.pdf

However, a lot depends on the type of IVA you have, what terms and conditions are applied to it (standard protocol or R3) and who your IP is as they all seem to view things differently.

My understanding is that your IVA proposal has to include reference to whatever terms and conditions your specific IVA is covered by.

If your not sure what type of IVA, or what T's and C's you have just ask your IP they will tell you..

You should just send them an email stating that no PPI is due and ask why the CC has not been issued.

Tell them you expect a date for the issuing of the CC or you will be making a formal complaint.
