Hi, Brokebryn. Great post. As you'll know from recent posts I, (hopefully), shouldn't be far behind you. It's good to hear that you’ll keep posting as help from both sides of an IVA is really useful.

I'm rooting for you Sensible 77, if all things were equal your cc should have arrived shortly ahead of mine, so I hope that the one remaining creditor gets its act together sharpish and that is it soon winging its way to you. Don't expect anything fancy, mind you, just three lines saying effectively 'that's it'. Let me know when it does and we can raise a virtual glass together!

Loyely post Brokebryn, so glad you are now finally debt free! I was with Payplan for 5 years and had a lovely case worker Jack Heathershaw, I could not fault Payplan, and had a good IVA with them with no problems and received my CC in march this year and am finally looking forward to my debt free future. Good Luck!

Oh, and by the way like yourself, despite finishing my IVA in march, I still log on to the forum each day to see what is happening, and like yourself, maybe occasionally someone will be going through the same situations as I encountered though my IVA and perhaps I like yourself can give the occasional hopefully helpful pointer!

Hi Sammy,

I spoke to Jack in the absence of my case officer and he was extremely good to deal with.

I think we have been lucky. Others have had and are having a rough ride with Payplan right now, finding them hard to pin down / get hold of once the IVA finishes. It's a shame that everyone cannot get good service; unfortunately that's in the make up of a sprawling organisation.

It is really great that you are taking time after your IVAs have closed to continue to post on the forum, as this is inspiration for those posters who are in the middle of their cases or even thinking about proposing one. Evidence that there definitely is light at the end of the tunnel.

We all benefited from the wisdom, support and advice, not least from yourself Mel, and it's bad form to forget it.
