My iva with GT ended in march and I am still waiting my completion certificate. I am looking to rent a property and I see from the agents website that they use a credit reference check. Does anybody know if GT would issue me a letter or something to confirm my agreement has ended and I have not missed any payments to help me with this credit check. I would be grateful if anyone could advise please?

Hi Jan.21 - well done on the end of your IVA. Only GT can really answer the question as to what they would be prepared to do for you - Karol from GT posts on here so hopefully she can pick up on this for you. If they cannot issue you anything it might be worth taking your IVA paperwork in to the agent to show your IVA has finished and all payments have been met (from your annual reports).

Good luck looking for a home - hope you are able to find one with no problems - let us know the good news when you do!

They should do it for you, Freeman Jones wrote a letter for us whilst we were waiting for our cc so that we could stand guarantor for our son's uni accommodation.
Life after IVA is wonderful.
