Ive checked the dreaded ir this morning and my names gone. YES.
That has been one of the negative points of the iva. I suppose I can consider myself solvent again. Yay.

What a week its been cc on monday dated 15oct. Exactly 1month after my 5 yr anniversary and now off the register. A little celebration tonite.

Hope this post shows that we all will get there.

enjoy the celebration- we had a bottle of champagne to celebrate the iva dropping off the public record & our credit file! BUT the real celebration won't begin until credit file is cleaned up & everything has disappeared into the ethos!!
IVA COMPLETED & CLEAN CREDIT FILE.

An old bible proverb says this: the rich one rules the poor, and the borrower is a slave to the lender.

How true are those words of wisdom.

It is about time wickerwish. I have had other clients who have had their entries removed much quicker. Let me know if it doesn't happen.

Claire & I seem to be IVA 'buddies' - my CC was also dated the 15th, and I'm also off the register. Does the IP let BIS know at the same time they let us know, or can they sometimes be a bit tardy? I was expecting it to take much longer - not that I'm complaining!

The Registrar is notified at the same time as you are. The problem lies within the Insolvency Service's Human Resources - and they do have up to three months in which to update their system.

I, too, went out for a few beers with a friend in celebration. Really glad we get the extra hour in bed with which to recover :-o
