PPI reclaim with Cleardebt, had a face to face appointment with their rep on 6th Jan 2013. Filled in all forms, signed all documents.

Got a letter through the post with SAME paperwork in June. Re-completed and sent back.

Just got a further call from them last night, they said "further creditors had come to light" and I would need to complete some additional authorisations. I asked who these creditors were? They went through them and they were the same creditors included in my IVA, same ones I completed forms for in January and again in June.

All this when I have told them repeatedly I have never taken any PPI out. The words arse and elbow spring to mind.

Yep me too! They said they ran a credit check on me and found some accounts that were settled many years ago which may have PPI. I asked why they ran a credit check and was told it was regular practice?? I too have been back and forth with them since last December. All the original claims came back with no PPI on the accounts - it is frustrating but I have 1 more year to go on my IVA & fingers crossed this will all be a distant memory!

Thanks Reesay, are they allowed to access you credit files without permission?

Sounds similar story to mine but their 'new accounts' are not new at all

I have no idea but I did ask why they ran a check now after all the original claims have been answered and I thought it was done and dusted, the guy said " its something we do when reviewing your file - a credit search". He said he is sending me 7 more pieces of paperwork to sign and then I guess its the waiting game again, 2 of these accounts from today I already provided the details back in December, emailed them the credit agreements, signed forms etc but apparently they were never sent off!

Same with me, except that I had done a F&F last year, had the face to face meeting with DRSP in Feb. this year....9 months later, after having chased this up several times with my supervisor, have now been told they have a 'new' procedure, so will have to sign more forms, and wait again. so much for the 'being able to issue completion documents once all PPI paperwork has been signed over to them'.
if this had been done after I signed the original claims, would have my paperwork now, but they don't seem to care or even acknowledge what stress this puts us under.
I sincerely hope you both get yours sorted before you 'finish' your contractual payments to the IVA, good luck

Same story here Mole! Visit in January 2013 and signed a rain forest of paperwork with the assurance that it would all be sorted in 12 to 16 weeks, more like 12 to 16 years at this rate!! Had another visit in the summer, more paperwork in the post and a phone call last week with another two possible claims that have 'come to light'. When I asked how they were getting on I was told they have rejected one offer and there are a few that they would 'probably' be referring to the ombudsman. All smacks of desperation to me. For me the initials DRSP only stand for one thing . . . Don't Really Seem Professional!

Wow this all sounds so familiar...

I was also visited by DRSP in January 2013, advised of the above mentioned timescales, but only started receiving responses from my creditors in June.

Also had the phone call last month advising two further closed accounts had been identified and more paperwork would be coming my way.

Additionally I have now received three letters in total from various creditors informing of my duplicate complaints against PPI...what are you up to DRSP?!

Does anyone know if account numbers show up on credit expert?
Im just curious as I came home this evening to a letter from DRSP with 7 extra PPI claims that I have to sign the paperwork for. They all have the lender and account number and 2 I don't recognise so thought I would look it up myself on credit expert ( DRSP said they found these extra creditors from running a credit check on me) but I cant see them on there?
