I am so amazed by what I just received in the post!!! So what should I do now, I know it will all stay on my credit file for another year but should I still be on the insolvency register?

I was with debt free helpline or debt support centre I think they are now called. I am quite happy to name them as although I had a few issues (mainly my own fear and worry) I now know that they are a great company!!!

Good to hear your IP dealt with your IVA closure as quickly as possible.I don't think they gain anything from delaying it for months and months. Again, congratulations and Lionatus is right, it maybe an idea to check the IR to see if your names off it but give it a couple of weeks just to give the IP a chance to sort this side out if they haven't as yet.

i made my last payment on 06.09.13, CC received 2 weeks ago, i sent a copy of the certificate and my final report to all my creditors and the 3 credit reference agencies last week. I checked the Insolvency register today and i'm no longer on it! Really surprised how quickly this has all been done. I now also have an excellent credit rating with just one default to get cleared up. I would suggest sending a copy of your CC and final report to everyone as this seemed to work for me. Good Luck

I went directly to the IR and stated that my file showing as active is an error as I had paperwork proving IVA had ended. They asked for images of paperwork so out came camera phone. Just been told by IR via email my case has been updated and will take 24hrs to process.... Happy days.Hi, You case has been updated but it will take 24hours to update. Kind Regards

I've just had an email from IVA company saying I have to stay on insolvency register for another 12 months, I knew this about credit files but thought I came off the register straight away!! [V]

Tosh, josu -- why do they say this ? What they mean is that they can't issue the completion certificate for 12 months -- absolutely insane !

But I have the completion certificate, so does this mean I can come off the insolvency register?
