Hi,

My IVA that started 13/11/2007 has finally be set to completed.

I received a completion cert dated the 15th of Nov 2014 from grant Thornton, and have forwarded this on to the Insolvency agency to push for removal from the Insolvency register. I have now received an Email from the EAIPS annulments and closure team saying it has been updated as completed as of 3/12/2013.

The mail states I will be removed from the Insolvency register in 3 months time, is this really the case that it will be a full 3 months before I am removed or could it be sooner?

Many thanks,
Adrian.

It can vary ive seen some done within a week mine took around 10 days some the full 3 months other take longer and need adjusting via a complaint (thankfully quite a rare one).

Best thing to do is just check the insolvency service website every day until that great moment when your name finally dissapears.
Time to end of IVA 0 days
Time to end of GT dealing with it...CC recieved after a battle royal !!

I was also told 3 months from the official completion date. However, it disappeared a day or two after I sent pdfs of the completion docs. My Iva was older than 6 years at this point (like yours) so maybe that had something to do with it?
