Hi all!!
I was looking for some advice and cannot speak to Freeman Jones until the new year due to opening hours. I've been in my IVA for approaching 18 months and made every payment required but was wondering if my IP is likely to allow me a payment break to buy a new bed?? Mine broke last month and it's not very nice sleeping on a matress plonked on the floor! Would it be a reasonable request for me to ask for a break for 1 month??

I would have said it was reasonable -- after all, it will be added on at the end, so it isn't as though they are giving you anything.
Mattress on floor = bad sleep + bad back = ill health
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Why not look on freecycle or ebay for a bed frame .... This time of year you be lucky in finding that won't require a payment break from your IVA.

Hi garymitch
I'm sorry you've had to wait to speak to us.
I believe you've just spoken with Rachel and she has arranged a payment break for you.
If you need anything further please let us know.
