Hello all,

I made my final payment in November 2012 and still have not received a certificate of completion. My IVA is with DFD & i've contacted them around 3 times a month for the past 16 months.
Initially told that PP was being investigated and towards the end of last year, advised to fill in and return a deed of assignment form.
On chasing this, was told that it hadn't been received, so was sent another form which i signed (with a witness) & returned by recorded post.
Latest information (from calling them again) is it will take around another 3 weeks - as "it has to be checked that it's been signed correctly"
Is this the norm? I'm finding this process extremely frustrating. I made payments promptly and overpaid some months throughout the 5 years of my IVA. This however just seems to be dragging on, with minimum communication coming from DFD.

That is a really long time to have to wait, John. Have you been receiving annual report updates in the meantime?
