Hi Sam. Sorry to hear about the heart attack, but you should, I hope, be feeling a lot better now stented.

How it affects your IVA will depend upon how this has changed your ability to pay ( if at all). Do you get sick pay at work ?
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

You should notify your IP who will be able to advise further depending on how your circumstances change. It will at least make the IP aware of the current problems and if a payment break is necessary I am sure it will be sanctioned.

I hope you get better. I had also a heart attack with three stents. Sadly this was not a issue with my IVA and I had to continue with my payments

hi hope you are feeling much better. i had emergency major stomach surgery last year and was off work for 4 months. i informed my ip and was given a 6 month payment break. your ip is able to authorise this without having to have permission from your creditors. wishing you a speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear about this ... Hopefully the stents will help and prevent further issues. Once recovered will you be able to remain working with the same income ? If your circumstances change your IP should be kept informed so they can support you throughout.

I was ill for 9 months during my iva and the IP let us pay half the monthly payment when my wages went down to half pay. When I returned to work it was on a lesser salary and they adjusted the payments accordingly. I did have to extend to address the shortfall but it was only for an extra 6 months at the end of the iva. Talk to your company I'm sure they will sort something for you. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
