Hi, as with many of the posts on these forums, I too have issues with gt and eic. it took 18 months for gt to close my iva following final payment. I am currently stuck with chasing ppi payout which I know I have as one bank has advised me a cheque was sent to gt. I understand the bulk of this is going on iva but I should receive the interest accrued as agreed by eic. they are a nightmare! they won't
release this until they have all details from other potential claims. how long can this go on? they don't give me a straight answer. it's been nearly 12 months.

Angie welcome to the forum,
I also am with GT and have been having claims by EIC being done for well over a year now, they do not seem to do anything unless you pester them. I am not aware of anyone who has recieved the 8% interest pay out yet, and GT stated to one poster that they had not go the software in place yet to pass it on! Keep plugging away at them, I phone EIC every month to get an update and this week received more papaers for hubby to sign regarding PPI from the Bank of Scotland hopefully that is the last one.

Hi, we have been in an IVA with GT for a year now, we signed our papers for EIC quite soon after the start of the IVA. This week we have had 3 letters from creditors regarding PPI (or lack of). I am so hoping that EIC have got their act together now but they should be concentrating on those people who have paid their final payments and are still waiting.
The problems with GT completion fills me with dread and if I had found this forum before going to the CAB I would not have gone with them.

Good luck and I hope you get some closure soon. NMC

They are obliged to give you information relating to your claims, Angie, and should not be withholding this until all claims are in. I am sure they would not want you to have to submit a formal complaint about lack of communication!
