I am due to make my last payment into my IVA next month (hooray) and have been advised by my IP to reduce my final payment by £104 as I've overpaid. I don't understand... how can you overpay into an IVA? Thanks peeps.

Perhaps your debts have been cleared in full or there was a miscalculation in an overtime payment for example. Good for your IP to spot this and well done for finishing the IVA.

Maybe your IP took a payment in advance which you had forgotten about, and did not cancel your standing order at the right time?

Bottle of Champagne with some of the £104 I would suggest. Well done on completing :-)
