So, so angry about the PJG business. Does anyone know if their other company, Clifford Watts, has been sold off? The phone number is unobtainable.

The PPI thing is a farce anyway, funny that a few years back all I did was ring the banks and get told I didn't have PPI and yet it appears that it will take months, if not years, for any PPI company to resolve.

I feel like a sprat in a sea of sharks, which I probably am. I wish to god that I was not a director and I could have gone bankrupt rather than be at the beck and call of companies and people who treat me like this and mess with my life. I'm on enough depression meds as it is without all this lark to add to my illness.

I understand your concerns ivamess, I imagine that things where just starting to stablise for you after acceptance and you were on the track back to a debt free life, now this has thrown you back into the uncertainty of the dark days.

Well this forum is here for you, you need to have a rant, you are entitled to do so, but remember getting yourself into too much of a state will be counter productive.

You must remember the positives, you are protected in your current agreement, they cannot change the t&cs without your consent. Even at review time, they will not reduce your allowances as these will have been baselined at the current level as minimums.

I know its stressful but getting too upset cannot help at this time. Just take some solace from the protections you have above.

Best of luck.

Bringing this back to the top. Does anyone have any information about Clifford Watts as they are also owned by PJG?

Im afraid I tried to email my contact yesterday at Clifford Watts , I am also with PJG who has been transferred.
My PPI contact no longer works there.
Trying not to worry too much, but hard.

...from what I can tell on Companies House Clifford Watts Ltd, is still listed ac active, but their last business accounts marked as 'dormant'.

Same thing with PJD Recovery.

Both companies have the same registered office, and as Mel is a director of both firms, they will be very closely affiliated.

Read into that what you will, but I rather suspect both companies are in the process of flogging off your IVA's, and winding up.

Sorry to sound cynical, but the more I delve, the more something stinks. Certain directors / IP's are making a ton of cash in the process I suspect.

I suppose it's just business at the end of the day.

UpToMyNeckInIt. I am not aware of the full circumstances, but I do recall a post from Mel a little while back, saying she was considering winding down and taking life a little easier.

She and her team have worked tirelessly for many years in the industry and has been one of the leading lights and most profession and caring IP out there. On top of that she has given, free, many hours of advice and assistance to this forum, for clients and non-clients alike.

To intimate that "something stinks", when someone wants to take a well earned rest frankly .... well ...stinks!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Perhaps I should clarify: I too wish Mel well, and as I stated elsewhere, will miss her presence on this forum.

Agreed, she has clearly gone above and beyond to freely give advice etc. Let us not forget however, that she is primarily a very astute business person, and it is apparent that she has also won many customers through recommendation on this forum. Many of whom feel justifiably let down at best, by the way this transfer is being handled.

So I was not criticising Mel personally. The 'something' (ie: not someone) that stinks is the allegation that many PJD and Clifford Watts customers have only found out about this transfer via a public forum, and without notice, have had lines of communication cut in the interim.

It is apparent that some customers appear to be at very delicate stages of negotiation with F&F offers (temporarily I'm sure) lost in the ether for example.

Anyway, it's just my opinion - not having a go at anyone personally.

I am locking this topic as Andy has asked for all PJG comments to be made via one forum thread.
