I will ask them if I can just amend my end, print this off as proof and return it to them. This change will then be immediate and avoid the possibility of the payment going into the wrong account.

So who should we pay on Feb 2nd? AL or RBS?
Ive emailled them immediately subject heading ***URGENT*** to get their attention!!! lol!!!
What if RBS are a creditor? (not mine but probably someones on here). And what if they go down the pan given that high street banks arent very secure/reliable nowadays!
The email was very threatening in tone and not at all worded professionally. I guess its down to the fee AL charge and Id like to know what AL can no longer do after all this time.
I dont know why they need our details either when a SO is setup/altered/controlled by the customer (us) nothing to do with them.

Have cancelled my PJG standing order, it goes out on the 1st of the month..at least then I've still got hold of my payment and can redirect it as and when I get the new details.
I appreciate not everyone has online banking, so maybe that's why we're all getting forms...but for those of us that do we should be given the details - easier all round for everyone involved!

Just been and checked my emails as I have deleted loads today. Low and behold theirs was one of those deleted ones as it honestly looks like a spam mail as I have no idea who Nancy Reid is and when a subject is in capitals with no company name I feel it looks dodgy! How very unprofessional. Our payments are due out in 28th of this month.

Yes, I received the same email, I also thought that it was the customer(myself) who had to change the standing order with the bank. I have emailed them and asked them to provide the new bank details so as I can change them my end and ensure any future payments go to the new account. I also made a point of saying the transfer to them has been troubling news for many people and I hope they treat us with the same respect and courtesy we received from PJG. I'm sure that will go down like a lead balloon! needless to say, I am not holding my breath for any response

Yes i thought it was spam too. Looks very unprofessional and quite frankly really dodgey! Dont usually even open things like that as fear could unleash a virus! I think I too will cancel Febs payment untilknow for certain whats going on. Roll on my red envelope!!! They must spend a fortune on postage...email is so much easier!

Right folks

I have just spoken to creditfix, my first ever call and the lady was pretty helpful. In regards to the standing orders. As mine comes out on the 1st of February, she has advised me to make that payment as usual to the pjg account and once its gone, I'm to cancel the standing order to pjg and by the 1st of march the new RBS account will be active with my bank details. She did apologise for the harshness of the email, but said it was purely to get noticed and not treated as spam and deleted.

First contact with CF, I will give 7/10 :-)

Hope it helps

Completely crass email. Who the hell gives them the right to address us all like a piece of Sh@t!
I would suggest Reid gets herself on a Customer Support course ASAP.

Hi All same email so called them this evening. Explained that I am not about to send my bank details to them and could I have their account details to amend my existing standing order. Here they are: Sort Code 83 07 06 Account code 10230546. Also use your IVA no / surname for reference. By all means check this out direct with credit fix first but I did not want to lose control of my own bank details which is why a standing order is generated from the customer in the first place. There were a number of reasons given as to why they needed my details e.g. record of accounts with AL or remove me from chase 'campaign' to ensure all accounts transferred etc. In reality a politely worded professionally structured email giving us the client the appropriate bank details would have worked just fine! Fyi the expectation is that all Feb payments are made to the new account so make sure you cancel the existing s/order as it would not be good to be charged twice. Good luck everyone and stay strong this is not a smooth transition for all of us just trying to do our best.

Its badly worded and badly punctuated. I'm amazed any professional organisation let this go out.

PJG's bank doesn't have the facilities to manage my arrangement? Really, PJG managed for 4.5 years! Oh sorry, you want to save £200...well just say so!

If I don't return the form immediately my arrangement will go into arrears. Only if I go 3 months equivalent into arrears.

I shall treat their request with the same urgency they treat my requests.

Request 1. 27 days for substantive reply
Request 2. 8 days and counting
Request 3. 1 day and counting

Just had one of these too. What a dreadfully worded and aggressive email! I'd love to know exactly what Arbuthnot Latham couldn't provide that RBS can?? Just come out and say it's to save money rather than try to badmouth AL...........

Mind you, if it HAD included bank details for "new" account would anyone have changed their S/O on the strength of an email??

why oh why don't they read the forum (or are they?) and respond to pacify it's newly gained customers...very bad customer care.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
