Lou74,

All they need is an explanation as to why you may transfer money over to other accounts. I do this very often as I have business expenses coming and going, so have to cover these every month.

I think that if you are honest and explain then I can't see how they could take it away.

My car has had issues the last 18 months which have totalled £2000 all in, but because I did not have enough money put aside, I had to borrow and pay it back. Since then and as my car is getting older, I do try to put some away, so that I gave it to hand again, which I think is only right.

Imagine if a boiler went or you had damage to your home or a large appliance stopped working !!

Thanks mrs r. That sounds sensible to me! It's just so frustrating not knowing if you need advice from them with something is it the correct answer or not? It's like pot luck if you phone the call centre and you could get told something different every time.

Oh and by the way the disciplinary case that's been mentioned is just shocking. It's quite unsettling to be dealing with someone with ethics like that. Nothing like pjgs ethics as they assured us in that introductory letter....

I must admit, that concerns us aswell.

I have spoke to a few helplines etc today and asked whether we can transfer to a different provider, but they keep saying it's very difficult to, yet they can transfer us with no issue!

They keep saying any concerns speak to the IP and is in doubt, the ombudsmen.

Have no idea what we are going to do, but our depression is rearing it's ugly head and we're trying to find family to help with a f&f so we can just get it done with.

Who knew every fear that was allayed would come back with avengeance !

Hi - I posted this yesterday on another thread 'I received an email from credit fix today stating that if I felt strongly they could not force me into signing the mass variation.
I do feel strongly which is why I emailed in the first place - so I will not be signing.

Put your concerns in writing and lodge concerns and complaints to the insolvency service if you do not get a response that is consistent with your existing IVA contract '

It's very concerning that Wriglesworth has form for submitting variations to which the debtor has not agreed.

We need to watch this lot like hawks, they seem like dodgy operators and I don't trust them one little bit.

Hi
Not sure if this is the correct thread ... It appears that CF have reduced my dividends and when I phoned to ask why they had been reducedthe young lady said it was because some creditors have just received their dividend amount for this quarter ?? Is this normal ??

My review was due in jan but have only just received the IE and request for bank statements etc , they have reduced the dividends before I sent off my documents . They also say that my IVA is now a 63 month not a 60 month Iva and said it was because my first 3 payments were towards my income tax ( self employed) however I sent them evidence that I paid the 3 month income tax in one lump sum prior to my first agreed Iva payment as requested by Mel .. This is now worrying me and not sure what I should do . I am in month 50. Any advice folks ?

I cannot see how they can extend the IVA by three month because of the tax payment! Check the IVA register as for the date you are on there from and this will confirm that your IVA commenced in January. The three payments made regarding tax are the monthly allowance usually saved to pay HMRC but the debt for the year in which you entered the IVA is included within the IVA so this money is paid into the pot.

This is basic stuff and whether the payment for the tax allowance was made in a lump sum or you made extra payments between Jan and March is irrelevant. Go back and demand to speak to the IP or someone who understand self employed IVAs and provide the link to the insolvency register.

https://www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk ... hMapIE.asp

This will prove when your IVA commenced and demand it is sorted out now. Three extra months for nothing!!!

Many thanks I have looked at the register and yes my Iva commenced in January 7th .

Is it standard practice to reduce my dividends payments without any communication or review being carried out ?

I cannot say as I do not know why they have done it. Perhaps they are hoping to get their fees increased and want to hold back enough money just in case.

wow - what a thread, another IVA/IP firm I wont go near, thanks for the info (about to step on to the IVA merry-go-round)
My Blog details, the route I took before IVA, how I choose my firm, equity release advice (year 4-5), challenging the CRA's keeping IVA on credit file once gone from insolvency register

IVA ended August 2015. Would recommend McCambridge Duffy
