Hi Can anyone give me an idea of what happens at the end of my IVA. I have a couple of payments left and would like to know what the standard process looks like e.g. who gets asked to provide what information and when? I want to be ready and prepared for this momentous occasion!
Also I don't know if there is a different process or not but I am nearing the end of month 72. My IVA was extended for 12 months with 12 capped payments due to it not being possible to release equity. This also meant that I no longer had to provide monthly pay slips etc as no further uplifts were necessary.
But this was all agreed (in writing) with PJG so now not feeling so sure it may be that simple and I would like an idea to what should happen before it all goes a bit random.....
Foggy and Michael I would really appreciate your views if you have the time. Thankyou.

At the end of your payments the closure team will want to check all monies received and no additional payments are due for bonuses, overtime etc. This will be done and once completed a closure certificate should be issued.
The insolvency register will be updated within 3 months of the issue if certificate.
Your credit files should start to clean up once the credit agencies are informed of closure and creditors default dates reach 6 years old.
Well done for reaching the end - enjoy your debt free life x

The on ly potential problem I can see is if CF ask for wage slips and try and claim overtime from the final year. However if PJG had agreed that the payments were capped you should argue your corner if they ask for a further extension or extra money.

Thankyou for your responses.

I am more than happy to provide any information but do have e-mails that categorically state that the payments are capped, no further uplifts and no more payslips required as they (PJG) were not obliged to undertake any further reviews.

So we shall see.......

Thankfully I have refused to sign updated t's & c's / mass variance etc. Which I have also had confirmation back from CreditFix in writing that my right to decline is on file. No mis-sold PPI to claim either.

I am ready to argue my corner should it be necessary.
Pity we weren't all sold onto you Michael[:)]
