Hi, A full and final settlement for my IVA was accepted 7weeks ago. I am waiting for a completion certificate.
I have contacted McCambridge Duffy who have said they will get back to me to but still waiting.
Does anyone know how long I could be waiting?

The file cannot be closed down until at least a month post acceptance. It also depends on whether all creditors have claimed and if the PPI issues etc have been resolved. Contact Roisin at the office who will be able to advise better or contact me when I am back from leave on Nov 3rd.

Hi, I have received a letter today. Deed of assignment. A lot of terminology but I think it just relates to ppi? Anyone know if I'm correct.
I've emailed Roslin so hoping to get a reply shortly.
Thanks.

MD have told me that they will not issue a completion certificate until all PPI claims have been resolved regardless of the fact that I have signed a deed of assignment. This must be a very recent development as I can't find anything about it online. Either way it is very frustrating as EIF are dealing with the PPI claims and don't seem to be very well organised at all (Unlike MD who I must say are always very helpful).

I am not at work today due to being snowed in but drop me an email and I will look into this for you. There is only a skeleton staff in today due to the weather conditions so it would be difficult to find anything out until I get back in.

Thanks Michael I have sent you an email. As I said your staff have been very helpful, was just a little frustrating as I wasn't expecting PPI to be an issue. I spoke to EIF yesterday who said that hopefully the issue should only take weeks, but given that they were apparently waiting on information that I had previously provided them on numerous occasions I'm a little skeptical.

My Completion Certificate arrived today, probably the best letter I have ever received, such a relief!
Thank you Michael for all of your help in getting my file completed. I would certainly recommend McCambridge Duffy to anybody in financial difficulties as they were always helpful and polite.
