Yes I do feel lucky as I was scared the low offer would be rejected but if I could pay more I would ! But due to OH struggling with health and going part time rather than going on benefits as consultant advices we are paying what we can !

We each pay what we can, according to our own circumstances -- although some firms want the whole widow's mite! And, I feel, we were all lucky to get the chance to sort things out and, hopefully, grasp the new way of living financially.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I think that one of the best things about our ivas was that we could pay back what we could but that there was an end. Whether you pay back 15p or 85p, it's paying all that you can that creditors want.

When I had my IVA HSBC wanted 40p in the £ minimum so I had now choice as they were our main creditor.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
