Not that I was waiting for the post this morning but it has arrived. So happy words fail me. I have not signed anything for ppi no deed of assignment but they are instructing a company called EI to act on my behalf, which is fine. Just one quick question though, they are going for secured and unsecured which will mean my mortgage, is this correct? What happens if they claim more than the original debt plus fees etc?
Seems strange for your IP to have no protection as if you refuse to cooperate with this company there is little they can do about it.
If they do manage to find enough to clear the debts in full plus fees etc the balance will be returned to you so no reason not to work with this company unless you want to do it yourself and potentially save their cut.
I don't see how. Once you have the certificate and the registry has been notified you are debt clear. It may take a couple of months for your name to come off the insolvency register but that will be that.
Well done on getting that letter and I agree with Michael that they cannot take it back.
They've paid the creditors off so that is it.

That's a relief. PPI was never an issue really. More than happy to allow. It was and is always my intention to pay back as much as I could. An Iva was the best thing I ever did.
