I am assuming a valuation has been done by Aperture as I haven't been asked to remortgage

Hi there i have just received my annual income and expenditure forms to fill in , iva started in 31st January 2011 and made payment on 15th January 2016.
I'm with Natwest and when I looked at my direct debit payments the status for my iva now says final payment.
I'm with aperture but formally grant Thornton

I have a property which I'm required to release equity from
I haven't been asked to remortgage , as I'm aware this is to be done 6 months before the end of Iva.
So I'm assuming that a valuation has already been done by the company and there's no equity ??

Hi and welcome to the forum. Do check with your IP as in general you are required to obtain the refusals for your remortgage.

Do you have equity within your property?
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

If there is little or no equity your IVA has completed. I can only assume that they did the valuation themselves in month 54 and that is why it is closed. Do you have equity?

Perhaps or perhaps it as an oversight on their part.

Hi there not sure
But I done a valuation on zoopla on my house number and it came back in the details that the estimated value was £98000
My mortgage is £82000
I am in a joint iva with my husband
Like I said I have made 60 payments
Last one on 15th January
I would of thought aperture would have contacted me last year for me to enquire about remortgaging.
Heard nothing until now and they have asked for a final income and expenditure review and say once they have this they can pass it onto closures team.
So I'm hoping that this is good news and they have done their own valuation and Thera no equity?

Personally speaking it sounds as though you may be completing but speak to Aperture to make sure.

You are remortgaged to almost 84% loan to value so can raise less than £5k in a remortgage. It therefore seems as though the property has been excluded and your IVA should now close.
