Hi Everyone,

I submitted a full and final offer at the start of this year due to funds being offered from my father. The offer covers all the money my creditors would have received in the remaining 17 months of my IVA to try to ensure it is accepted. We are currently in negative equity on our property so equity release is not required and has been proven to the variation team.
My scenario is that
1) my wife is expecting our second child
2) i am currently in a 6 month fixed term contract with work
3) we desperately need to move to a bigger property (rental) to house the 4 of us as we currently live in a 2 bed flat (mortgaged)

I know that even the experts on this brilliant forum cant say my offer will definitely be accepted, but in your opions is it likely to and will my overall situation be considered and not just the total of the offer?
I find myself losing sleep over this drawn out process as, if it is not accepted, im not sure what we will do.

Thanks

Hi Jordan,

Personally speaking I think it sounds like a good offer and they will take your circumstances into account.

Good luck and also congrats on the new baby!

Hi Jordan it does sound like a very fair offer.

When is your variation meeting set for?

Thanks for the replies.

I have just received paperwork from variation team this morning that i need to sign and return and then they can arrange my meeting. Sooner rather than later hopefully.

Is this now the point where my creditors will be given 30 day notice period?

I think its 14 days notice, not 30 but I might be wrong.

Not an expert but thought it was 28 days?

I think its 28 (or 21 depending on terms) for the IP to call the mtg but creditors are to be given at least 14 days notice.
