Hiya. We are very excited to be very near the end of completeing our IVA now 😀. This forum has been so helpful to me. I spoke to someone on the phone on Monday and they said that the IVA have been accepted and that the paperwork was now with our IP for him to sign so that we could get our certificate. My question is at this stage how long will i have to wait until i get our certificate? If anyone would have an idea. Every day i get very excited for the post coming...but then thought maybe it will take a little while still. We are with DFD. Thank you in advance.

The norm is around three months, however I have seen some firms do this in weeks, whilst others take 6 months.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Hi and well done on completing.

It is dependent on your company as to when the letter is sent out and also whether or not there is any PPI to be sorted out.

Some firms take up to 6 months. I'm not sure about DFD specifically, sorry.

Hopefully it won't be long until you've got that piece of hard earned paper in your hand.

Anyone who completes an IVA deserves a well earned pat on the back and a good splash out at the next debt free pay day which I intend on doing as I only have 2 payment to make! A very big well done and congratulations

Thank you Lesley for your kind words and the long road is finally at an end. I for one cannot wait to enjoy the extra £400 a month and I hope everyone else who are nearing completion enjoys their financial freedom once again[:)]
