I am just looking for some advice about my credit files. I am trying to clean up my file with Equifax as it is still showing my IVA. I have completed my IVA and have my completion certificate...my name is no longer on the register but i am having a few problems with Equifax. I recieved a credit report from them which is still showing my IVA. Our Iva started in 2009 so is well past the 6 years. I sent them the completion certificate a week ago by e-mail and rang today to see if they had changed my report. The lady on the end of the phone said that what i sent them is not a completion certificate? Im very confused by this as this has been accepted as a completion certificate by everyone else. She said i will hear something in 7 days as she has sent it to the data team to look at. Where do i go from here? This is all ive ever known as my completion certificate.
If it is a completion letter then it should be accepted - perhaps whoever you spoke to doesn't know about these things.

It is the certificate of completion.

Thank for your replies. Yes thats what it says..so it's definatley the completion certificate. Its the same document i sent to the register for them to remove my name and they accepted it so i can't understand why Equifax aren't.
Keep pestering them - as I said it may have gone to someone who hasn't a clue what they are talking about.
