Hi I am starting my final year of my IVA (yay). After reading other posts I am worried that DFD will increase my term from 5 to 6 years. I am renting so don't have a property/equity and I've heard that those w/o equity have their term increased. I have always rented throughout terms of IVA so DFD were aware of this at the start. Can anyone help?

Thanks

Hi and welcome,

If you have no property and have made all payments on time then you have nothing to worry about.

There is no property, so no equity. Therefore no extension in lieu.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Foggy is right. You have nothing to worry about as you have no equity in your home because you don't own it.
