They said it shouldn't be a problem as I have already added my wife living cost to my expenses when I was taking the IVA, also they really didn't have a such information! A little bit of disappointment in there.
There is little your IP could advise as they would not know. If the I&E is unaffected and creditors already knew that you were married the IVA would be unaffected. How the Home Office reacts is totally different so legal advice would be better than insolvency advice.
