Hi. Creditfix is a reputable company, although, like others, they have their bad points as well as good. Fortis, I know nothing about.

You cannot be due to start paying anything until there has been a meeting of your creditors, which cannot happen until your proposal is drafted.

One of Creditfix's biggest problems is with communication, however, I am told they are very good once you get them on the phone, so I would suggest a call to them to see what is happening.

I would also suggest that you put a hold on anything going on at the moment and have a chat with a few companies yourself to acquaint yourself with the whole insolvency thing.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Can only find a link on Linked In to Fortis, and the link on there to the website doesn't work.

Credit Fix are genuine - not sure why you can't find any details it's easy to find on Google. Link here:

Having said it that it's a bit fishy that you haven't heard anything from them and might warn you of problems to come. Shop around and pick a different firm. Meet with a local IP who you can speak to face to face.

Hello Jennifer.

Don't worry I'm with Creditfix and despite some bad press initially on here things settled down and they are getting a good reputation.

Why don't you tell us exactly what has happened so far?

Given the radio silence and your concerns I would shop around and go elsewhere. You should have the number and name of your case worker and they should be in regular contact with you.
