bank has frozen my assets

my husband has an iva which has been agreed but the bank in which we had a joint account has now frozen my assets. can they do this legally and what can i do about it?

Hey bren54, welcome to the forum. Is that bank one of your husband's creditors? If it is then he should have been told by his IP to open a seperate bank account with another bank, that goes for you to. You should speak to you IP about it on Monday, please wait for one of the IPs that post on here to advise you.

What do you actually mean about freezing your assets? Do you mean that the account has been frozen - or all of your personal assets?
