I rely heavily on my car for all aspects of my life - if during the lifeterm of an IVA I have problems with my car and need to replace it how would I go about getting the money?

Hi there, cars seem to be a hot topic lately. In your IVA do you have allowances for servicing etc? You really need to have a contingency fund on the go for the unexpected.

If you do need to repair the car, you should contact your IP and see if you can take a payment break or make a smaller payment. Of course the payments have to be made up and this can be done by adding a little bit each month or by extending your iVA if thats an option?

Lets hope you're car see you through the IVA [:)]

Good luck xx

Hey sesm, welcome to the forum. Lots of forum members have had various car troubles lately. You would have to talk to your IP and request a payment break to free up money for repairs. As for buying a car, I really don't know, maybe someone else does so hang in there for more advice. X

I know of a reputable company I could recommend - and if anyone needs their details I can e-mail them via my website.
