Hi everyone,
I have recently recieved my credit file from Experian, Equifax and call credit.
they are all different showing different figures for accounts held even some address that have nothing to do with me.
I have had the CCJ removed(set aside) however on equifax it still shows, on Experian its gone and call credit its still there, despite writting to them all.God this is frustrating, now I have to get the default removed otherwise it was all a waste of time.
If it we did not have this site i would crack up.
Geoff

Please let me know me know how u get on as i am coming towards the end of my IVA and when i get my completion certificate i will send it to the credit agencys and i hope they accept it and action it
That won't get rid of any defaults though James, you'll have to get in touch with the creditors to remove those.
Your IVA will remain on there for the full six years.

I am pretty sure that you have to get in touch with your creditors and ask them to remove them.
Your certificate of completion only covers your IVA (even though all those debts will have been included).
I am sure Melanie or Andy or David will be along and either confirm or correct that.

Sorry to jump on board this post but it seemed better then starting a new one. I asked a couple of weeks ago if creditors had to update your credit file. That post became a bit to sharp and had to be locked. Anyway heres a update I contacted the Information Commissioner's Office and asked them to look at my case as a mobile phone network were not updating my last default as satisfied.( Now a word of warning the ICO at the moment has about a 5 month backlog of cases). I was advised to ask that the case be esculated and as a result they contacted me last week to advise that they would be contacting the Mobile company. At the same time I sent a email to the networks head office asking why my file had not been updated ?
I had a call from them yesterday saying that my credit file would now be updated in the next 28 days.
So if you do need your files updated and the creditor is not helping its worth contacting the ICO but it might take a while to get it resolved.
