Hi,
I completed a lumpsum IVA in september 2004 and all creditors notified via my IVA practioner and duly paid, i had one problem with Morgan Stanley when i requested my credit report 2 yrs ago it still showed balnace not satisfied i contacted them and sent them copies of completion papers and they assured me it would be updated and it was, but out of the blue today i received a letter from Evershields Recovery? saying the debt had been sold to them in 2005??, and asking me to fill forms in and send proof of completion, should i just ignore this letter or contact my IVA company?

Hi
Phone them and get them to contact your IP.
I had similar letters from Eversheds after my IVA completed.
You have nothing to worry about

I am sure that your IP will try to be helpful, but it is more likely that you will need to deal with this directly with Eversheds. If you send them a copy of the final IVA report that should suffice.
