Congratulations. I am sure something went on behind the scenes and well done to whoever pulled the strings. As Andy says, the partners at GT are genuinely nice people and they may exerted a bit of pressure on Max Recovery to accept. It is possible that your postings here helped because no one [including creditors] likes bad press.

Great result - and well done to the boys at GT. I endorse all of the comments already made, and fair play and good common sense has been brought to bear.

Well if someone has pulled the strings and my postings on here have made that difference, well, I am really lost for words. They are very very special people. They have made this man very very happy. Years of stress and worry.....

I cant help but get excited about this. I am trying to hold it back until I see something in writing. I just spoke to my father and he says the cheque is ready and waiting.

What I can say with absolute certainty, is that had I not logged onto this forum last year, I would probably still be struggling along with the IVA or even bankrupt. I am extremely grateful for the advice I have received and messages of support from people in similar situations.

I'll update this thread when the matter is finalised.

Thank you again

S

Let me know if there is a problem with anything. In larger firms often the IPs do not see every single thing going on in the firm on a daily basis - but your IP has a policy of dealing with issues personally when they are brought to his attention - as evidenced by the speed of response you have received today.

I am so glad that the forum has helped you on this occasion, demonstrating further the strength of this valuable and vital support service within our profession.
