I would like to know if it is normal for IPs to put a restriction on your property if you are in an IVA. Also say the property I live in does not belong to me but other family members can a restriction be put on that?

Hi Mohib and welcome.

Yes, it is normal for a restriction to be put on property. It is so that it cannot be sold without the IP's permission.

If the property is not yours, I wouldn't think that a restriction could be put on it, but one of the technical experts can probably answer that better than me.

Hi
If you have no interest in the property then your IP can't put a restriction on it.
